What is SCCR? (SCCR = Short Circuit Current Rating) |

SCCR "Short Circuit Current Rating" is a requirement of NEC 2005 standard. It's related to circuit breakers and their maximum input current rating of them. Assemblers have to add up the SCCR values of all parts in a machine, and that value cannot exceed the max set value. NEC2005 (National Electric Code) requires the total SCCR to be displayed on label of machine. Click here |
