Step Motor and Driver
The
AlphaStep is a revolutionary hybrid stepping motor and driver
package which eliminates missed steps, a common problem with
stepping motors. The AlphaStep uses a built-in feedback device
that constantly monitors the motor shaft to detect and correct
for loss of synchronism. Geared and electromagnetic brake
models are available.
The easy
to use AlphaStep Built-In Controller system couples a closed
loop stepping motor with a combined controller, driver and
AC power supply. Intelligent, integrated and ideal for technology's
increasing demand on motion control, the AlphaStep Built-In
Controller is computer-programmable via an RS-232 connection.
