Using AC Motors for Positioning
Simply add a Brake Pack or select an AC Motors with an electromechanical brake attached or the Low-Speed Synchronous Motor, for simple positioning.
Electromagnetic Brake Motors - 6 W (1/125 HP) up to 200 W (1/4 HP)
AC power off activated brake type, allows the motor to stop instantaneously when the power is cut off. Ideal for vertical applications in which the load must be held.
