Induction, Reversible & Electromagnetic Brake AC Motors & Gearmotors - V Series
The V Series offers twice the maximum permissible torque, greater strength, longer life, improved reliability and quieter operation than a conventional AC motor all for the same price. If you want to drive larger loads without changing the motor size, the V Series is the right choice.
Available from 6 W (1/125 HP) up to 90 W (1/8 HP) in an Induction, Reversible and Electromagnetic Brake Motor type.
Twice the Maximum Permissible Torque
The high-strength design of the V Series is made evident through its maximum permissible torque, which has been increased by up to two times* the level of our Conventional Motors (GN & GU geared type). Even if the load condition is changed to a level that normally requires a higher amount of gearhead strength, the V Series can accommodate such a change without the need to increase the size of the motor or gearhead.
*Specific torque is dependent on frame size.
High-Strength, Long-Life (10,000 hours)
The motor's considerable strength has resulted from the use of a rigid case, a proprietary side-panel construction and an optimized gear design. Moreover, the use of a larger diameter bearing serves to extend its useful life.
High Reliability
The motors have a built-in overheat protection device and a protective earth terminal. Offering high reliability, the V Series supports effective equipment design.
Quiet Operation
The V Series utilizes a comprehensive set of noise-reduction technologies: a special tooth-surface machining technology to remove cutting mark of 1 to 2µm from the surface of the motor shaft teeth, an optimized quiet-running design that considers the circular speed of the motor while maintaining its strength and a high-accuracy assembly technology that ensures precision at micro levels.
Combination Type for Easy Installation
The motor and gearhead are pre-assembled with dedicated screws so installation is easy. There's no need to worry about the shaft being scratched.
Conforms to Major Safety Standards and Global Power Supply Voltages
The V Series is recognized by UL and CSA and certified under the China Compulsory Certification System (CCC System). CE Marking is used in accordance with Low Voltage Directive. Additionally, our wide range of products include those that meet the power supply voltages of major countries in Asia, North America and Europe.

Induction motors are optimal for uni-directional operation such as a conveyor system. |
Reversible motors permit instantaneous switching of rotation direction. Most suitable for applications where instantaneous reversal of direction is frequently required. |
These motors utilize a power off activated type electromagnetic brake. Since the electromagnetic brakes exert holding power even when the power is off, they are highl suitable for use as emergency brakes. |

Couplings / Brackets
These products are clamp type couplings used to connect a motor or gearhead shaft to the shaft of the equipment.
This is an aluminum die cast mounting bracket for geared motors.
Long, horizontal holes make it easy to make fine adjustments during installation.

CR Circuit for Surge Suppression
This product is used to protect the contacts of the relay or switch used in the forward / reverse circuit section or the instantaneous stop circuit section of a motor.

Brake Pack
The SB50W provides instantaneous stop, bi-directional operation and electromagnetic brake control functions integrated into one unit. This brake pack can sense when the thermal protector is opened, ensuring the safety of your equipment. For greater convenience, a function has been added to reset alarms using an external signal.
