The EZ Limo EZS II Series motorized linear slides incorporate an
stepping motor, feedback system, ball screw and table in an all-in-one compact body. The EZS Series of motorized sliders provide positioning through the use of a table and slider driven by the ball screw.
The EZS II Series uses the
stepping motor characterized by its high response and ability to eliminate missteps. By fully utilizing the performance of the
, the EZS II Series is capable of performing quick positioning operations.
The EZS II Series can perform positioning at high speeds, supporting a large transportable mass.

The total length of the linear slide is shorter for every stroke and model, which enables space-saving design of your equipment.
A wide range of stroke lengths are available.

The linear slide and controller are connected via a single cable and the wiring distance can be extended to a maximum of 20 m*. The cable is fitted with a connector for quick connection.
*Maximum of 10 m for 24 VDC products.

A simple roller mechanism is used to prevent the stainless sheet from wearing quickly. The roller structure suppresses dust generation caused by rubbing of the stainless sheet and the table.
The ball screw employs the QZ™ lubrication system, while the LM Guide® uses the Ball Retainer® to retain the coupled rolling elements. The ball screw and LM Guide® use AFF grease with reduced dust-raising property, which is designed for use in clean rooms.
A traveling parallelism of 0.03 mm is achieved by the direct installation of the guide
The controller combines all of the functions needed to operate a linear slide in an easy to use solution. All EZSII controllers feature a vibration suppression function to reduce common areas where vibration can occur. The controllers are available in three power supply voltages: 24 VDC, single-phase 100-115 VAC and single-phase 200-230 VAC.
The controller can be used as an absolute unit by connecting an optional battery.
Choose Controller or Driver Mode
The EZ Limo can be combined with your existing controller to serve as a driver controlling the linear slide by pulse input.
Teaching Function
You can directly move the table to a desired position and store the position obtained, or use a teaching pendant to move the table to a desired position and then store it. Up to 63 points of positioning data can be set.
Home Function
You can select sensorless return to home or return to home using sensors.
Linked Operation
By linking multiple sets of operation data, simply input a start signal. You can then change the linear slide speed without physically stopping the linear slide.
Area Output Signal
A signal is output when the linear slide table enters a set area.

Function for Automatic Control of an Electromagnetic Brake
The controller automatically controls the electromagnetic brake during operation and when stopping.
You can easily perform all tasks from operation to data setting by using our teaching pendant or data editing software.

Data can be set in the absolute mode (absolute-position specification) or the incremental mode (incremental-position specification).
Absolute Mode: The absolute position (distance) from the reference point is set.
Incremental Mode: The position achieved by the motor after the last movement (=current position) is defined as the starting point for the next movement.
This newly developed control method achieves low vibration even at the speed range where large vibration occurs normally.

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive:
Directive on restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (2002/95/EC).
The RoHS Directive prohibits the use of six chemical substances in electrical and electronic products sold in the EU member states. The six controlled substances are: lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, mercury and two specific brominated flame-retardants (PBB and PBDE).
