The safety of the component parts is an important element in equipment design. However, part-by-part evaluation with all component safety is too time consuming for design personnel. Therefore, laws and safety standards have been designed to assure component safety. All Oriental Motor products conform to major global safety standards around the world and are clearly labeled on each part number.

Stepper Motors
Oriental Motor offers a complete line of closed loop or open loop Stepper Motor and Driver Packages, available in AC input or DC input, a complete line of Stepper Motors (Motor Only), with 4 basic step angles (0.36°, 0.72°, 0.9° & 1.8°) and 4 geared motor options (Harmonic, Planetary, Taper Hobbed and Spur) along with single axis or dual axis Controllers.
Servo Motors
Oriental Motor offers Servo Motor packages, as a complete solution, with cable and gear head, from 50 W (1/15 HP) ~ 750 W (1 HP). The NX Series includes a Round Shaft, Planetary Geared type, both with an optional Electromagnetic Brake and a 3 meter (9.8 ft).
AC Motors
Oriental Motor offers Constant Speed and Speed Control AC Motors from 6 W (1/125 HP) up to 200 W (1/4 HP) available in a wide range of input voltages, geared option and global safety standards. Also part of our AC Motors is a complete line of Electromagnetic Brake Motors, Clutch Brake Motors, Torque Motors, Watertight, Dust-Resistant Motors, Brake Packs and Linear Gear Heads.
Brushless Motors
Oriental Motor's Brushless Motors are complete motor and driver solutions, available in AC Input or DC Input voltages with output power from 15 W (1/50 HP) ~ 400 W (1/2 HP) in a Round Shaft, Parallel Shaft or Hollow Shaft Flat Geared type. Our Brushless Motors offer constant torque over the entire speed range, torque limiting, positioning and for vertical applications an Electromagnetic Brake option.
Linear & Rotary Actuators
Oriental Motor's Linear and Rotary Actuators offer excellent controllability. Our linear and rotary actuators consist of a stepper motor and offer many advantages over hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. Our Motorized Linear Slides feature a motor, frame, guide rail, guide block and ball screw or belt. Our Motorized Cylinders utilize a ball screw and are capable of driving a load linearly in a precise, accurate manner. Our Compact Linear Actuators achieve high positioning accuracy in a space saving design. Our Rotary Actuators feature a hollow table that allows large-inertia discs or arms to be installed directly.
Cooling Fans
Oriental Motor offers a wide range of heat measure products centered on cooling fans to meet many diverse requirements. Our Axial Flow Fans included large size and small sizes, long life versions and alarms. Our Centrifugal Blowers feature large static pressure and concentrated air flow. Our Cross flow Fans feature a wide, uniform airflow and our Cooling Modules are available in both suction and exhaust type.

Medical Industry
From compact AC gearmotors, to stepper motor systems, to a full line of fans. Oriental Motor products are widely used in the medical market. Applications such as raising and lowering a hospital bed or providing constant rotational speed in a centrifuge or ventilator require simple operation provided by AC gearmotors. Stepper motors are used for precise positioning control in applications such as IV pumps, X-ray machines and blood analyzers. Applications such as an oxygen concentrator utilize fans for cooling. Compact size, high torque, low noise and reliability are just a few of the qualities that make Oriental Motor a perfect match to meet the requirements of most medical applications.
Food & Packaging Industry
Oriental Motor's AC motors & gearmotors and brushless speed control systems are widely used to meet automation needs throughout the packaging market. Products such as AC gearmotors, including right angle and hollow shaft gearing options, are using in simple conveyor applications. IP67-rated watertight motors can be used in areas that need to be showered periodically. Clutch and brake motors are optimal for applications where simple index moves, such as labeling and cutting are required. Lifting applications often employ electromagnetic brake motors to provide braking in a power-off situation. For heavy industrial applications, Oriental Motor provides conduit and terminal box type motors, and for simple speed control we offer compact AC & brushless speed control systems.
