Oriental Motor Expands Linear Actuator Attachment Lineup with New Rolled Ball Screw Type

Torrance, CA – Oriental Motor USA is pleased to announce the addition of a Rolled Ball Screw Type to its Linear Actuator Attachment lineup for stepping motors. Designed for high-precision applications, this new type delivers repetitive positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm, making it ideal for semiconductor and inspection equipment.

The Rolled Ball Screw Type combines a ball screw and iron nut into a compact, easy-to-install linear motion mechanism that mounts directly to Oriental Motor stepper motors—no coupling required. Available in 30 mm and 42 mm frame sizes, the attachments provide maximum thrust forces of 50 N and 160 N, respectively.
