For this case study, our application engineering group combined 2 OVR Series articulated robots and MRC robot controllers with our BLH Series brushless DC motors to run two conveyors to demonstrate a working example of the warehouse work roles; Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving, Unpacking and Stocking.
The electrical pump turns ON to suction and turn OFF to release the objects.
This can be controlled using PRG-DOUT signal output from MRC robot controller.
The MRC robot controller can control other peripheral devices using Direct IOs or Remote IOs.
This demonstration uses Direct Output, PRG-DOUT commands
For Direct IO, MRC robot controller can interface with NPN or PNP inputs and output.
For Remote IO, MRC robot controller can communicate through Ethernet IP.
