The EL Series Electric Lifting Columns can be combined with a robot to expand the vertical operating range. Its high-rigidity design supports high moment loads while preventing vibrations and TCP wobble. 50, 100, 200, and 300 mm stroke lengths are available. This product helps reduce equipment design, assembly, and start-up time.

[Note]
An EL Series electric lifting column is a product that can be combined with a robot to expand the vertical operation range. High rigidity and high accuracy stroke 50 to 300 mm The lineup includes high rigidity and high precision models with strokes ranging from 50~300 mm. Contributes to reducing equipment design, assembly, and start-up time.
Robots and loads can be attached directly to the product body. Eliminates the need for the customer to design an external guide and arrange parts, thus contributing to a reduction in equipment startup time.

Using the hole in the upper part of the product body, robot cables can also be grouped together and passed through the interior of the electric lifting column.

The MRC01 robot controller and MRCU Series integrated robot controller & drivers can control up to two accessories equipped with the AZ Series in addition to the robot. For example, when using a combination of one Small Robots OVR, one EH Series electric gripper, and one EL Series electric lifting column can be controlled with a single robot controller. Additionally, SCARA robots can be controlled as robots including lift axes, so a single robot controller can control one SCARA robot + one electric lifting column + up to two accessories equipped with the AZ Series.

High permissible moment load is made possible with highly rigid ball splines. The permissible moment of 80 N·m makes it ideal for use in combination with SCARA robots.

The shortest positioning time can be calculated. Please contact our robot support team.
Floor or ceiling-mounted are available, expanding the range of equipment design.
It is equipped with a small battery-free mechanical absolute encoder (ABZO sensor). This can help improve productivity and reduce costs.

As it is an absolute system, home sensors or limit sensors are not required.
Advantages
Mechanical-type sensors do not require batteries. Positioning information is managed mechanically by the ABZO Sensor.
Advantages

• Positioning operation data setting value (Max. 256)
• General-purpose I/O signal counts (input 10, output 6)
• Communication I/O signal counts (input 16, output 16)
Knowledge of "Networks", "Ladder Programs", and "Kinematics operations" is needed to run robots.
OVR Series small industrial robots utilize a simple robot controller, making it easy to start up and control the robot, even without robot control experience.

We have an iPhone/iPad app that allows a robot to be seen in real space to simulate its operation. This simulator allows you to make the small robot OVR appear in the actual space and check its size and range of motion. Please use it to check the size and mechanism movement that are difficult to grasp from catalog information alone. Please contact our technical support for the details.

At the Robot Lab, you can experience hands-on testing using your own workpieces and go through the entire planning process from robot controller setup to programming. You can also see demonstrations of articulated and SCARA robots. Online consultations are available via PC or smartphone.
Chicago Lab Contact Information |

We can conduct transport tests using your workpiece and end effector to verify if operation is possible. We can perform detailed verification, including checking if the desired operating speed and trajectory are achieved, providing consultations on gripper design, and robot sizing. In addition, we can help address any other concerns you may have about introducing robots into your operations.
We are exhibiting typical industrial robots, including "articulated robots" and "SCARA robots," as well as composite demonstration units combining these types.

We offer training for OVR small robot operation, the MRC01 robot controller that allows for easy robot control, and the MRC Studio programming software. We offer product and programming consultations.
